Holy Cow!

The moment I got out of the airport and looked around it all felt unreal... like I was in a Michael Wood documentary.

But it didn't take long for it to hit me - this is real, I am in a completely new world, I am in Delhi! A childhood dream come true...

Eyes wide open, staring out of the taxi's window it got more and more real, as we made our way to our hotel. No matter how much you read about it, how many stories you hear, how many movies you watch, nothing can prepare you completely for the real thing... the slums, the traffic, the taste of the air... I needed a couple of days to adjust to the scenery, but to be honest - right from the very first time I walked out of the hotel I felt somehow cozy and already knew I will definitely miss this place, when it's time to go... I guess a special someone has planted a seed that is now ready to grow.

Here are a few point-and-shooters I took with my digicam the first couple of days while walking about in South Extension (for short South Ex)... My new neighborhood!
